The Wilmette Historical Museum hosted an opening reception for “Cooler by the Lake,” an exhibit highlighting the rich history of Wilmette’s lakefront. Maps, video, artwork and digital imagery all are featured in the exhibit to help to tell such stories as the engineering feat that led to the Sanitary Canal.
