Wilmette is great

As the wife of a diplomat, I move constantly around the world with my family. Just a year ago we discovered our new destination would be in the Chicago area.

My children were so happy when we moved to the United States, but the most important issue was to find excellent schools. This is the main reason why we ended up in this simply beautiful village of Wilmette.

At that time, a year ago, we were living in Sultanate of Oman, in the Middle East and I researched schools on the Internet, noticing that some of the best were in Wilmette. In order to enroll the kids into the District 39 schools we had to have a proof of residency in Wilmette.

That’s how our friendship started with Beverly Fleischmann from Coldwell Banker.

With two months in advance, I booked my appointment with her explaining our situation. It was time for the start of the school year and time for our transfer.

In less that one hour of our meeting we’ve found the property that was suitable for our needs, received the lease letter from the owner the same day, moved in a day after, and kids started their school year happily.

With the help of Beverly we purchased that house before Christmas.

With her and her lovely family we spent together our first American Thanksgiving Day, Christmas, Hanukkah and our first New Year’s eve in the New Continent.

It started as a business purpose and it ended up an important friendship.

We fell in love with Wilmette, enjoying every day we spend in this amazing town!
