Thanks to parents
The staff of St. Joseph school is grateful to parents for all they do to support the school and staff. The Teacher Appreciation Breakfast and generous gift is very much appreciated. Because of this support and commitment St. Joseph School is a thriving school and loving community.
Alter Servers
The staff is grateful to altar server families who served throughout the 2011-12: school year. Angarone, Bolotin, Bradley, Breen, Burke, Canning, Daly, Devera, Dunn, Erie, Fay, Foley, Gill, Govert, Gridley, Guidarelli, Hall, Hancuch, Hoover, Kuhn, Leech, Mergner, Paul, Sain, Santacruz, Selzer, Smith, Solmos, Stutz, Tatosian, Tetzlaff, Uhm and Vian. Those who have a son or daughter currently in fourth grade or higher who are interested in becoming an Altar Sever, contact Cathy Daly,cdaly97@aol.com. Server training will be in the fall of 2012.
Women’s Club Scholarship
Matt Merucci was winner of the St. Joseph Women’s Club Scholarship Committee. Macklin Kerrigan was the runner up.
It is so heartening to know what intelligent, creative, and amazing students we have in our parish community. We wish all of them success in their high school years; we are confident that they will make St. Joseph’s School and Parish proud!
Pizza days
Debbie Mabin, Lee Brodne and Liz Argento were helpful in organizing a year of Pizza Days. The school is grateful to all of the parents who gave their time to help serve pizza and lemonade.
School directory
The 2012-13 school directory is now offering parent ads. Parents may advertise your business, give a shout out to a favorite teacher, or wish your child (or children) a great year in the 2012-13 St. Joseph School directory. With a distribution of greater than 300 directories, the message will be front and center for the entire school to see. The ad or shout out can include a picture of your child or family or other artwork, but must be presented in .pdf format in the appropriate size. These will print in black ink on white paper. Photos are acceptable to add.
