Students participa tein contest

New Trier Chinese students participated in the Fourth Midwest Chinese Speech Contest facilitated by Northside College Prep High School on April 21. The following are medal winners:

Bronze medalists: Miranda Wei (Chinese 3-Heritage), Brian Krentz (Chinese 3), Lizzie Chandler (Chinese 3), Sang Won Hwang (Chinese 2)

Silver medalists: Grace O’Malley (Chinese 2), Jessika Huang (Chinese 2-Heritage), Spencer Michelson (Chinese 3), Bob Hayes (Chinese 3), Andrew Fischer (Chinese 2), Kim Cole (Chinese 2)

Gold medalists: Jasmine Zhang (Chinese 3-Heritage), David Ringel (Chinese 1).
