Amanda Holme of Winnetka and Siobahn McDermott of Des Plaines were granted Good Citizen awards from Skokie Valley Daughters of the American Revolution. Holme, a student at New Trier High School and McDermott, a student at Regina Dominican High School, were honored as outstanding leaders and citizens in their schools at a luncheon at the Glen View Club.
