D.36, New Trier cancel activities for weather

All after-school performing arts, athletics and club activities for New Trier High School have been canceled today according to a release from district administrators.
In addition to this evening’s cancellations the district announced all before-school activities for Feb. 27 are canceled as well.
The cancellations including tryouts for athletic teams and any parent meetings scheduled for this evening.
Staff will continue to monitor the weather conditions, but the district does plan to begin school at the regular start time tomorrow morning at both the Northfield and Winnetka campuses. If conditions worsen the district will notify parents of any changes via the e-mail and emergency phone systems.
The Winnetka Public Schools District 36 announced through their website that all after-school activities are cancelled for Feb. 26 due to the inclement weather.
The On Deck! after-school care program is not cancelled, but parents are encouraged to pick up their children as early as possible.
