Marketing professor buys Wilmette home

WILMETTE — Derek D. Rucker and Stacy L. Rucker purchased a home Sept. 12 at 2210 Schiller Ave. in Wilmette from Michael P. O'Brien and Cheryl L. O'Brien. The 11-year-old, six-bedroom, three-bath, 3772-square-foot home was sold for $1.287 million.

Derek Rucker is an associate professor of marketing at Northwestern University. He earned a doctorate and a master's degree from the Ohio State University and a bachelor's degree from the University of California, Santa Cruz.
