League convenes “Conversations”

The League of Women Voters Winnetka-Northfield-Kenilworth has started a new monthly program open to all members of the community. The monthly series, Conversations, will be held on the third Wednesday of each month through May

at a local restaurant and will include a stimulating conversation on a hot button issue led by an expert in the field.

The program is free and open to the public, and separate checks allow participants to order anything from the menu from a salad to a hot meal. The restaurant is Capriccios, 300 Happ Road, Northfield, and the program begins at 11:45 a.m.

“Each month Conversations will strengthen participants’ understanding of a subject that previously might have been vague and unclear,” said Nancy Marcus, co-president of the League of Women Voters Winnetka-Northfield-Kenilworth. “The program will afford participants an opportunity to share their ideas and perspectives.”
