Curran named to board

Ronald Curran of Wilmette was named to the 20-member board of directors at Swedish Covenant Hospital. Curran is a board certified cardiovascular/thoracic surgeon who has been on staff at Swedish Covenant Medical Group at Swedish Covenant Hospital since 1999. He is currently medical director of Swedish Covenant Hospital’s Cardiac, Thoracic and Vascular Section. He completed medical school at Rush University in Chicago, residency at University of Minnesota Hospital and Clinics and the University of Pittsburgh, and fellowship at Northwestern University Medical School in Chicago. He is a member of the Society of Thoracic Surgeons and a fellow of the American College of Chest Physicians and the American College of Surgeons.
