1. A Cappella Weekend features AC Rock performing a cappella rock at 8 p.m. July 6 and the North Shore Harmonizers, a women’s a cappella chorus in the barbershop tradition, and Lakeshore Jive, a coed a cappella group, at 8 p.m. July 7 at the Starlight Theatre at the Wallace Bowl in Gillson Park, Lake Avenue and Lake Michigan, Wilmette. Northwestern University Summer Orchestra performs Boris Tchaikovsky’s Concerto for Cello and Orchestra, featuring cellist Miron Yampolsky, and Sibelius’s Symphony No. 2 in D Major at 7:30 p.m. July 8 at Pick-Staiger Concert Hall, 50 Arts Circle Drive, Evanston.
