The following arrests were listed among the official reports of the Wilmette and Kenilworth Police Departments. Readers are reminded that an arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt. Police arrested David A. Gordon, 41, of 3718 Salem Walk, Northbrook, and Joshua C. Truesdale, 27, of 1996 Patriot Drive in Glenview on Aug. 8, and charged both with possession of heroin, as well as for traffic violations, following an incident that ended in a traffic stop at Lake Avenue and Harms Road. Police reported that both men were seen driving the vehicle, which was why both received traffic citations. During the traffic stop, both were found to be carrying heroin on them, police said.
Theresa Cwick, 22, of 587 Woodland Lane in Northfield is scheduled to appear Aug. 22 in Cook County Court to face local ordinance ticket citations of marijuana possession and possession of drug paraphernalia, following an Aug. 9 traffic stop that took place at the intersection of Wagner and Glenview Roads. The initial report didn’t give Cwick’s court date.
Police issued a local ordinance ticket for possessing drug paraphernalia to Kyle Betizel, 19, of 2100 Washington St., Wilmette, following an August 10 traffic stop on the 2600 block of Lake Avenue. The initial report didn’t give a court date.
Police cited Barrington Goodman, 23, of 541 Wesley Ave. in Evanston for possessing marijuana and drug paraphernalia, following an Aug. 11 traffic stop at the intersection of Wilmette Avenue and Alpine Lane. There was no court date listed in the initial report for the local ordinance ticket.
Leah M. Callahan, 18, of 1208 Forest Ave. in Wilmette, is scheduled to appear Oct. 7 in Cook County Court on charges of driving under the influence of alcohol, making an improper turn and driving without her license with her, following an Aug. 9 incident that ended on the 900 block of Green Bay Road.
W. Catherine Colmorgan-Starr, 36, of 1935 Birchwood Ave. in Wilmette, is scheduled to appear Aug. 22 in Cook County Court on charges of driving under the influence of drugs, leaving the road, and damaging village property, following a July 31 incident that ended on the 500 block of Locust Road. Police reported that Colmorgan-Starr drove off northbound Locust and veered into a parkway tree and light pole.
Police arrested two men and issued them traffic and minor drug citations Aug. 10 after responding to reports of an automobile stuck in the sand at Gillson Park’s South Beach. Police got to the beach around 12:45 a.m. and issued local ordinance tickets for damaging the beach and parking on an unimproved surface to Angad Mather, 24, of 5143 Estes St. in Skokie. They also issued local ordinance tickets for possessing marijuana and possessing drug paraphernalia to Mather’s passenger, Elia Flicker, 33, of 1430 Bayberry in Deerfield. The initial report did not give any court dates for either man.
Police issued local ordinance tickets to two 17-year-old Wilmette teens for drinking alcohol as minors, after stopping the two August 11 on the 300 block of Ridge Road. Police said they spoke to the boys around 10:30 p.m., issued the tickets, then turned them over to their parents.
