Village merchants host shopping event

The Village Center Merchants Group of downtown Wilmette will present “Spring Into Summer,” a semi-annual Ladies Night Out Shopping Event from 5-9 p.m. June 14 featuring the shops located in the Village Center of Wilmette (Wilmette Avenue/Central Avenue/Greenleaf Avenue/GreenBay Road).

Some of the participating business include Backyard BBQ offering grilled pizzas and wine tasting; Depot Nuevo offering a Ladies Night Special Margarita; Dinner at Eight offering tastings of food and wine; Lad & Lassie offering 20 percent off every stitch of clothing in the store; Lambrechts Jewelers celebrating its 120th Anniversary with Beth and Matt hosting a trunk show of sterling silver jewelry by Officina Bernardi and serving wine and cheese; My Mommy’s Secret; Raven and Dove offering 20 percent off the entire store; Rolf Salon; Studio North Academy of The Performing Arts; and the Wilmette Theatre offering at 7:30 p.m. the live show “Mr. Olsen’s Neighborhood” starring screenwriter and comedian Dana Olsen of Wilmette.
