‘Glencoe Under the Stars’ raises $80,000 for Family Service of Glencoe

Glencoe’s lush Kalk Park provided a picturesque and homey backdrop for Family Service of Glencoe’s annual benefit “Glencoe Under the Stars” on June 7 where more than 375 FSG supporters came to celebrate the non-profit community agency’s centennial birthday.

For the past 100 years, FSG has offered critical services geared at enhancing the well-being of its community members of all ages through vital services that range from individual and group counseling to domestic violence prevention, community education to senior housing assistance.

Chaired by board member Beth Schencker and co-chaired by Julie Finerty and Rachel Stein, all of Glencoe, the event raised more than $80,000. Proceeds from the annual benefit go to support FSG’s programs and services.
